Laboratory Sales and Service Representative

Los Gatos based Pathology laboratory seeks independently motivated sales and service for full time position. Successful candidates will have previous laboratory sales experience or pharmaceutical sales experience. Primary job duties will include prospecting and closing new accounts and maintaining current clients. Candidate will be responsible for all stages of the sales cycle from researching, prospecting, presenting, and closing surgical Pathology, Dermatology, Cypathology, and Anatomic Women’s Health Services. Candidate will also service and maintain the accounts they have closed.

Qualifications:
• Must have strong professional, ethical, and personal integrity
• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities
• Self-starter is a must
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing is a plus
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
• Valid Driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle (MVR)


Base Salary (plus commission, upon opening new accounts)

Location: Los Gatos, CA

Permanent/Temporary: Permanent
Employment/Contract Work: Employment
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation: DOE

 Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED

  • Must be able to type 40 WPM

  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written

  • 3 year experience in processing insurance denial

Description:

  • Process all paper claims to Medi-cal programs

  • Answering incoming calls from patients/insurances

  • Process EOB denials from insurance and Medi-cal

  • Process insurance return mail

  • Pull requisitions in order to complete research on denied claims

  • Process appeals to necessary carriers

  • Sort EOBs and distribute to appropriate person

  • Set up payment plan with patient and review account for payment

  • Maintain filing system on all insurance EOBs

  • Calling patients for missing information
